As Shaun T says during the warmup of Max Interval Plyometrics, the level is a little more higher. And it’s mentally harder still to re-engage in this Hybrid after taking two weeks off for recovery and vacation.
But despite all the truly insane torture Mr. T has inflicted upon me since May, I must grudgingly offer up a note of “thanks” for the resulting cardio/aerobic improvement I now enjoy.
While on vacation, we did a fair amount of day hiking, with lots of up and down elevation changes. I can honestly say that at no time was I ever taxed, out of breath or tired in any way while on these various excursions. So, since that benefit is one of my stated goals for subjecting myself to this daily regimen, I must dutifully acknowledge that it’s working.
I’m starting to think about what to do for my next Round. Straight P90X, straight Insanity, or another Hybrid? Decisions, decisions. 60 days of straight Insanity is an appealing idea, but I shudder when I think of re-introducing P90X after 60 days without resistance exercises.
