After I completed Yoga X yesterday, I stepped outside to check the mail and, coincidentally, the September issue of Downward Dog Magazine had arrived.
I had to laugh at the cover. The first thought I had was: never do your yoga in a slot canyon when there’s an approaching thunderstorm.
Man, when I was finishing up Round 2, I was consistently doing push ups through the entire moving asana sequence. Not yesterday. My arms were feeling pretty beat up for the first week of Round 3. I didn’t feel like I had the strength to do all those additional push ups when switching from upward to downward dog. However, I was pleased that my flexibility had remained fairly consistent.
This evening brings Legs & Back. I had very good pull up results during my last attempt in Round 2. It will be tough to match and I’m eager to see how I do.
