Round 3 Hybrid, Days 54-56: Max Recovery, Cardio X & Rest


There she is again--my nemesis

I finished off my recovery week on Saturday by actually RESTING. That’s right, I didn’t do any exercises, go hiking, backpacking or play tennis. I DID watch Georgia Tech win that football game, tho.

Max Recovery went better than in the past. The Plie squats were still not fun, but I could see the light at the end of the tunnel while suffering through them.

Cardio X was also a good experience. I must say, these recovery weeks are a big deal in this process. There is no way I could trudge through all these routines without the lessened resistance found in the recovery weeks.

Max Recovery Heart results:

Total Time:  47 minutes
Calories:  393 (or 8.3/minute)
Avg Heart Rate: 114
Max Heart Rate:  156
Time in fat burning zone: 25 minutes
Time in fitness zone: 22 minutes

Cardio X Heart results:

Total Time:  43 minutes
Calories:  460 (or 10.6/minute)
Avg Heart Rate: 129
Max Heart Rate:  166
Time in fat burning zone: 10 minutes
Time in fitness zone: 33 minutes
