I was back in Insanity-land today as I pushed myself through Plyometric Cardio Circuit. It’s just amazing the amount of weakness that re-enters the body when you stop working out for even a short period of time. It’s also amazing how this relatively short workout consistently brings me to failure whenever I begin a new round.
My arms were already compromised from yesterday’s push ups, so I guess I wasn’t surprised that I once again reached failure during the Level One Drills and In and Out/Ski Abs. The fact that my heart rate was way, way up there, certainly was a major contributing factor as well. Regardless, I stuck with it as best I could.
