Round 12: Insanity, Halfway.


Pint of beerI’m now in the middle of recovery week and halfway through this round of Insanity.

As the first half progressed, each routine became progressively easier to perform. And my form improved as well. I know this because I have been feeling the effects on certain targeted muscle groups where my form may not have been as effective in the past. Those hip-flexors, in particular, are feeling and enjoying the benefits of higher high knees and wider, higher heismans.

Now, with this recovery week, I’m appreciating the slower pace. I know it’s about to get amped up next week with the second half and the longer, more intense “max” sessions.

Tania remains particularly annoying in these Core Cardio & Balance routines.
